What to Do When You Crave a Vape
You do not need a perfect plan for the whole day. You need a small plan for the next urge.

In this guide
The goal is a pause
A craving can make the next vape feel automatic. The first win is creating a pause between urge and action.
The pause does not have to be long. Even 15 seconds can give you enough room to choose the next move instead of following the habit instantly.
Name the urge
Ask what kind of urge this is. Is it stress, boredom, routine, social pressure, or physical restlessness?
Naming the urge makes it less vague. It also helps you learn which tools work for which situations.
Use a short reset
Choose something simple enough to use in public or in the middle of a workday.
Fumely uses short exercises because long interventions are easy to ignore when the craving is already active.
- Take a slow breath cycle.
- Hold and release tension in your hand.
- Stand up or change rooms.
- Wait until the gap target, then decide.
Log what happened
If you vape, log it. If you do not vape, notice the gap you protected.
Either outcome teaches the system something. The point is to keep the loop visible instead of disappearing from the process.
